Gail Lee Shreves, 82, of Shinnston, passed away on August 22, 2026, at United Hospital Center. She was born in Red Bank, N.J., on August 26, 1943 to the late Rudolph Harry Peseux and Gladys Elizabeth (Terry) Peseux.
Gail was a member of First United Methodist Church of Shinnston. She enjoyed working at the Lord’s Pantry and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son, Lee Ward Shreves and wife Robin of Enterprise; two granddaughters: Crissy Wood and Amber Shreves; two grandsons: Terry Richards and Tyler Shreves.
Also surviving are three great-granddaughters: Aubrey Wood, Maddie Wood and Gracie Metzer; one great-great-granddaughter, Kentlee Grace Adams; two great-grandsons: Gavin and Garrett Moody; special little angel, Faith Mitchell; two special brothers-in-law; several sisters-in-law as well as many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Okey Lee Shreves; one daughter, Lori Sendling; one sister, Ferol Poliny and one brother, Harry Peseux.
In honoring her wishes, cremation services will be provided.
