Search your couch cushions, gather your spare change, and head over to the Annual Bridgeport Juniors Penny Auction Sunday, February 26 at 1:00 p.m.
The event sold out in 2016 and has been moved to the Bridgeport Conference Center to accommodate a larger crowd this year.
The annual Penny Auction allows participants to purchase cups and bid on prizes donated by local businesses. Bidding cost range from one cent to twenty-five cents. Prizes typically include gift cards for local stores, gift certificates for services in our community, free dinners at local establishments, gift baskets, movie passes, home goods, jewelry and much more.
There is a $10 entrance fee that includes free concessions donated by Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). Cups are for sale for $3 each; limit 10 cups per person, while supplies last.
Secure your spot today by purchasing a presale entry ticket, which includes one free cup, via PayPal at bridgeportjuniors@gmail.com. Proceeds from the event are used for community enrichment projects.
The Bridgeport Juniorettes will hold a 50/50 drawing during the event. Money raised by the 50/50 drawing goes to benefit the Challenger League.
The Bridgeport Conference Center is located at 300 Conference Center Way Bridgeport, WV 26330. Doors open at noon.
