The Harrison County athletes in the spotlight this week are Lincoln’s Alexis Williams and Angelina Wright. The Cougar softball team has earned its fair share of big wins this season and Williams and Wright have been major contributors in these victories.
The “W and W” Express has taken turns clearing the bases with big blasts that have led to wins over Big 10 foes. Last week, Williams hit a grand slam to push Lincoln past Bridgeport 15 to three. Prior to that, Wright blasted a grand slam in an 18 to one triumph over Liberty.
