This week’s athletes in the spotlight are Bridgeport’s Giana Cox and South Harrison’s Jaden Hatfield. Both athletes had exceptional efforts in the WVSSAC State Track and Field Championships at Laidley Field in Charleston recently.
Cox had a fourth place finish in the 200 meter dash and a fourth place finish in the 4×400. Cox claimed third in the 400 meter dash and fifth in the 100 meter dash.
