Kathryn Boles, age 94, of Hepzibah, passed away on June 3, 2025. She was born on November 15, 1930, a daughter of the late Antonio and Theresa Audia.

Kathryn is survived by her children: David L. Crutchfield of Bridgeport and Kelley Mascioli and husband Pat of Delaware; her grandchildren: Elliott Crutchfield and husband Greg Pisini, Eric Crutchfield and wife Samantha, Korey Smith and wife Tiffany, Kara Smith, Kody Smith and wife Cecilia, and Kolby Smith and wife Kristen; her great-grandchildren: Luke Crutchfield, Bella Smith, Giana Smith, Bentley Ray, and Emerson Smith; her sister, Frances Bordi; numerous nieces and nephews that she adored; and special friends: Sheila and Fred Martin, cousin Francie Cunningham, and cousin Esther Hawkins.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Homer E. Crutchfield; brother Joseph Audia and wife Gilda; sister Flora D’Aquilante and husband Frank; and brother-in-law Louis Bordi.

Kathryn spent her entire life in Hepzibah and she was a graduate of Victory High School, where she graduated in 1948. She was also a lifelong member of the Holy Family and Saint Ann’s Catholic Church. Nothing brought Kathryn more joy than her family and Mountaineer sports. She loved talking about sports with others and also enjoyed talking on the phone.

The family will welcome friends at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike Street, Shinnston on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church, 610 Pike Street, Shinnston with Father Deepu Joseph officiating. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
