Joseph Russell “Joey” Beverly, 52, of Lumberport, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the WVU Hospitals Ruby Memorial in Morgantown. He was born on August 18, 1973, a son of the late Karen Kay Beatty Beverly and Charles E. “Pete” Beverly and his wife Mary. On June 8, 2013, Joey married Tabitha Ann Malcomb Beverly who survived him.

Also surviving are three children: Chase Kniceley, Caylee Beverly, and Gus Beverly; his siblings Chuck Beverly and his wife Angie, Brian Scott Beverly and his wife Cristal; nephews and nieces: Landon Beverly, Lilly Beverly, Ashton Fleming, Drew Bates, Danny Summers, Wyatt Malcomb, and Levi Malcomb; great nephew, Leland Bates Beverly; brothers-in law, Robert Malcomb and his wife Charlena and Cayden Malcomb; and his father-in-law that he considered a father, Robert Malcomb.

In addition to his mother, Joey was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Lori Malcomb.

Joey was a wonderful husband, father, and brother. He loved his family deeply. He spent his time helping the homeless and those struggling with addiction. He and his family were always collecting items that they could distribute to those in need. He enjoyed taking walks with his girls and his dogs. Above all else, Joey loved Jesus, and spending time in worship. He attended Covenant Church in Fairmont. As a last act of service, Joey was an organ donor and helped save a life with his liver. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 10am until the time of the service at 1pm, Friday, April 24th with Pastors Josh and Sara Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Lion’s Club Cemetery in Lumberport. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Beverly family.
