Karen Sue Shaver, 71, of Harrisville, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at WVU Hospitals Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born in Haywood, August 2, 1952, a daughter of the late Charles Lester Mary Mae Stout Carnes.
Surviving are one brother, Foster Carnes and his wife Bambi; one sister, Betty Quinn; her brother-in-law, Sam Perry; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by one son, Nathan Guy Shaver; and her siblings: Clarissa Ann Perry, David Lee Carnes and his wife Linda, Charles Carnes and his wife Helen, and Shirley Riffle and her husband Lee.
Karen graduated from Lumberport High School. She worked various jobs throughout her lifetime. She was a caregiver to her family and loved collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. Karen loved life.
