Keith Alan Mackey, 64, of Fairmont, passed away at River Oaks Healthcare Center on Sunday, June 29, 2025. He was born on June 19, 1961 in Clarksburg, WV, son of the late Ferrell and Donna Mareta “Hall” Welch Mackey.

Keith was a custodian for 24 years at Bridgeport United Methodist Church. He liked to ride his motorcycle. He also enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars, landscaping, and was an avid music lover.

Keith is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Dannielle Manear and husband, Jason, Clarksburg, and Jessica Dean Erwin and husband, Tyler, South Carolina; one grandson, Riley Manear; three granddaughters, Luella Manear, Gladys Erwin, and Teagan Erwin; one brother, Kenneth Mackey and wife, Becky, Fairmont; one uncle, John Mackey and wife Louise, Shinnston; brother in law, Jimmie Welch, Fairview; two nieces, Melissa Bellotte, and husband, Anthony, Bridgeport, Amanda Hawkins and husband, Brian, Rivesville; two nephews, Christopher Welch and wife, Gigi, Granttown, and Jason Welch and wife, Melanie, Maryland; 4 great nephews and 2 great nieces.

In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by one sister, Vicki Welch; one nephew, Todd Welch.

Keith wanted to thank, and was appreciative of the River Oaks staff, and hospice care, Amedysis. Keith was also thankful and appreciative of his nieces, Melissa and Amanda, for always being there for him.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.

Dorsey Funeral Home is honored to be handling the arrangements for the Mackey family.
