Danny Rowan, Senior Center employee, made his fourth hair donation to Locks of Love (LOL) this month. LOL is a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 21 in the United Sates and Canada who are suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
Danny, a four-year employee of the Harrison County Senior Center, said that he has experienced the painful loss of his sister due to cancer. “I want to help children suffering from cancer and the other medical conditions that cause hair loss,” he said.
In-Home staff members Barbara Oldaker, Stacey Tennent and Casey Bryant exhibited a team effort cutting Danny’s locks!
