Lois Marceline Grier 76, of Shinnston went on to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday June 23, 2025, at her home in Shinnston WV. She was born on July 23, 1948, in Fairmont WV, daughter of the late Billy Oliver Leyh and Helen (Flanagan) Leyh of Bridgeport.

She was a loving wife and mother. A devoted loving grandmother, adoring pet owner and home maker. She attended Trinity Assembly of God in Fairmont WV, where she was a volunteer on the Welcome Committee and later a member of the “Young at Hearts” bible study and ministry club.

Lois is survived by her loving husband of 59 years William Joseph Grier of Shinnston; and her two sons Billy Joe Grier and wife Cindy of Shinnston and David Grier and wife Mara of Idamay. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Ashley Grier of Bridgeport, and Cody Grier of Mannington, and two step grandsons Joey King of Farmington and Jacob Brunett of Idamay and three step-great grandchildren. Lois is also survived by her sister Patricia Rader of Alexandria, VA. Her two younger brothers Timothy Leyh and wife Karen of East Amherst NY, Thomas Leyh and wife Jennifer of M.B. South Carolina, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Leyh of Bridgeport; along with nine nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Lois is proceeded in death by her beloved parents Billy Oliver Leyh and Helen Leyh of Bridgeport and her dearly missed younger brother Billy L. Leyh also of Bridgeport, WV.

Friends and family will be received at Harmer Funeral Home 300 Pike Street in Shinnston WV, Sunday June 29th from 2:00pm -8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on June 30th at Harmer Funeral home and officiated by Pastor Richard Wilson. Internment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
