Margie Ellen Burch, 77, of Independence, passed away on August 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Shinnston on February 2, 1947 to the late Robert and Jane (Swiger) Craig.
Margie was a member of the DAV Auxiliary of Grafton, attended Union Mission Church in Bingamon, enjoyed working crossword puzzles and loved to play Bingo.
She is survived by one son, Paul Allen Craig and wife Pamela; two daughters: Margaret Ann Clayton and husband Brian of Fairmont and Margie Ellan Burch of Independence; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Lemley; one brother, Eddie Craig and wife Carolyn of MD as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Margie is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Paul Burch; two brothers: Junior Ray Craig and Freddie Craig and five sisters: Wanda Donarchy, Geneva Haught, Norma Custer, Clarice Standard and Freda Kurbaba.
