With over 6,000 acres of mountain fun, Massanutten Resort, located in Massanutten Virginia has way more to offer than just skiing.  With views of the Blue Ridge Mountains on all sides, the resort has become one of the premier places for year-round family fun.

The resort offers the third largest indoor water parks in America, complete with inflatables, body slides, pools, lazy rivers, hot tubs and Endless Wave, a surfing simulator.  Their outdoor water park ranks among the best in the nation as well, with downhill water racers, a wave pool and plenty of decks on which to catch some rays.

Conveniently located by the water parks, families can find all types of dining, as well as a huge interactive arcade, karaoke, and more.  In the off season, golf clubs often take the place of skis when traveling to Massanutten.  With two challenging 18-hole courses, mini-golf, and a driving range, there is something for everyone in the family. The resort even offers FlingGolf, a new sport that combines golf and lacrosse.

The mountaintop resort also offers scenic chairlift rides, horseback riding, carriage rides, tennis, and an entire family fun adventure park complete with ziplining adventures, summer tubing and rock climbing.  The venue hosts area music festivals, wine tasting tours and some of the best mountain biking around.

For those that prefer to stay indoors, Massanutten Resort has a family-friendly Escape Room, craft classes, cooking classes and magic shows. Nightly entertainment is available throughout the summer and accommodations are available for short and long-term stays.

For the adults in the family, there is a world-class spa on-site as well as cooking demonstrations, shopping, and fine dining.  Within miles of some of Virginia’s best wineries and cideries, tours are available directly from the resort daily.

For a one-stop family destination that guarantees no one is bored, Massanutten Resort is the ideal vacation spot year-round.  Additional information can be found at www.massresort.com.
