Nancy Rose May, 90, born April 26, 1934, in New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2025 at her home in Lumberport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted May; her parents, Earl and Rose Main; siblings, Robert Main, James and wife Hazel Main, and Olive Heffley; and her children, Michael and Winnie Hayes; and son-in-law, John Dimatteo.
She is survived by her sister, Alice Bennett; a daughter, Linda Dimatteo; her grandchildren Amy (Ryan) Marks, Michael Hayes, Jr., and Hilary Ramos; great grandchildren Lindsay (Dylan) Whitecotton, Dustin (Camylle) Marks, and Emma Marks; great great grandchildren Theo Whitecotton. and others; and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy worked in a custom drapery business with her husband Ted in Florida for many years. she enjoyed gardening, painting, knitting, and spending time with her family. Her favorite days were spent lounging with her cat, Shadow.
Nancy was a kind, smart, and funny woman who will be very greatly missed by those who truly loved her.
