ANNUAL PICKENS RAMP SUPPER

ROAD TO RESURRECTION

A family event “Road to Resurrection”(families learn and participate in what happened that last week of Jesus’ life)  will be offered at the United Methodist Temple, 665 Locust Ave., Clarksburg on Saturday, April 15th at 11 am along with lunch in the fellowship hall.

 

FAMILY FUN DAY

The First Baptist Church on 70 Rebecca St., Shinnston will be offering FREE lunch, games, and an Easter Egg Hunt for all ages on Saturday, April 15th at 12:00 pm.  For information call 304-592-0232.

GENESIS CENTER ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT

Genesis Salem Center will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15th at 11:00 am.  This event is free and open to the public.  Bring a bag or basket.  There will be an Easter egg coloring contest and refreshments also. The Shinnston Area Council of Churches will hold a Good Friday Service at noon on April 14th at Charles St. Christian Church with Pastor Darrell Pierce presiding.

 

OUR LADY OF PEACE ASSEMBLY 1184 MEETING

CREATIVE PAINTING…AND COOKIES TOO!

The Lowe Public Library will host “Creative Painting…And Cookies Too” for KIDS on Saturday, April 22 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.  A $25 pre-registration fee is required – all supplies will be provided (including a 16 x 20 canvas for a painting based on the book “Duck! LAS VEGAS NIGHT

Brookdale-Maplewood, Route 50 East of Bridgeport, will hold its 13th Annual Las Vegas Night on Friday, April 28th. Doors open at 5:30 pm.  Proceeds benefit Health Access, a United Way Funded Agency. Cost is $30 per person and includes $500 in gaming chips, gourmet buffet, 2 free drink tickets, live dinner music and access to a silent auction. DIVORCECARE SUPPORT GROUP

A 13 week DivorceCare support group is being offered at the First United Methodist Church in Shinnston.  Rev. Craig Blankenship will be the leader of the adult group and Rev.
