Notre Dame National Honor Society Honors “Hometown Heroes”

The Notre Dame National Honor Society honored two individuals as “Hometown Heroes” at the basketball game vs Charleston Catholic on February 26. Dave Maurer and “Grandma” Judy Cistaro were honored during half-time.
Maurer has supported Notre Dame for 17 years as a teacher, athletic director, bus driver, swim coach, and much more. He is a do-it-all man at Notre Dame and was recently named WV State swim coach of the year for 2015.
Judith Karen Cistaro has been a supporter of Notre Dame since 1982. She is well-known for her support within the church and for Notre Dame Athletics. Grandma Judy is known as the Cheerleader for Notre Dame Sporting Events. Thank you both for all you do for Notre Dame.
