Roger D. Flowers, 78, of Clarksburg, passed away on October 13, 2024, at the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 13, 1946, in Morgantown, a son to the late Donald Flowers and Alberta Clark Flowers.

He is survived by his wife of over fifty-one years, Diana (Pyles) Flowers, whom he married on March 17, 1973; daughters Meredith Leah Post (Shawn) of Fairmont, Kelly Ann Wilson of Fairmont; and grandchildren Brenna Wilson and Andrew Wilson, both of Fairmont. Also surviving is his brother, Kenneth Flowers (Patty) of Westover; nieces and nephew Debbie McCord of Morgantown, Kathy Feathers of, OH, Donna Williford of Florida, Allen Flowers of West Milford, and Beverly Forquer of PA.

Roger served his country in the Army, and was in the Vietnam War. He worked at the Harrison Power Station where he was the Control Room Foreman. He was Methodist by faith. Roger enjoyed being a DAV volunteer, riding motorcycles, and woodworking. He was a devoted poppop, loving father, and husband.

Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 2:00PM-8:00PM. A graveside service with full military rights will be held at the WV National Cemetery on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:00AM with Pastor Stan Jenkins officiating.
