There will be a lane and shoulder closure on U.S. Route 50 eastbound and westbound, from the Joyce Street exit to the West Pike Street exit from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, for “drilling operations for high mast lighting foundations,” according to a news release Monday from the Department of Transportation.
“The slow lane and shoulder area will be closed in periodic locations,” the release states. “Work will be performed throughout the project. Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.”
