Ruby Mae Gump Miller

Ruby Mae Gump Miller, 81, of Shinnston, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Gypsy, August 24, 1943, a daughter of the late Jasper Kinzy and Cora Marie Ice Gump. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren J. Miller, Sr., whom she married in 1959.

Surviving are her children: Debra Miller Spencer and her husband Ronald, Brunswick, OH, Tim Miller and his wife Kim, Farmington, Donald Miller and his wife Kimberly, Cleveland, OH; grandchildren: Jamie Miller, Timothy Miller, Jr. and his wife Ashley, Amanda Stanec, Brandon Miller, Jackie Miller, Emily Canterbury, Dylan Canterbury, and Erica Canterbury; a great granddaughter, Riely Miller; her sister, Violet Gump Evans, New Symrna, FL; brother-in-law, Hayward Miller and his wife Doris, Cunningham Run; and several nieces and nephews.

Ruby was also preceded in death by one son, Warren “Jay” Miller, Jr.; a grandson, Daniel Jason Miller; and her siblings Richard John Gump, Albert Paul Gump, Edna Louise Gump, Jasper Kinzy Gump, Jr., and Howard Gump.

Ruby was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family and their home. She was a wonderful cook and a devout Christian.

A graveside service will be held at the Lumberport Lion’s Club Cemetery, Friday, October 4th, at 11am. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Miller family.
