Sandra Ashcraft Vincent, of Shinnston, entered into eternal rest with our Savior on March 21, 2024. She was born on February 16, 1951, a daughter of the late Ray Ashcraft, Jr. and Lenora Harper Ashcraft.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. (Bob) Vincent; brothers-in-law: Kenneth Vincent and Charles Livingston; sisters-in-law: Catherine Ashcraft, Delores Livingston, Aleda Vincent, Nola Robey, and Ruby Vincent; nephews: Charley Livingston and Buddy Vincent.

Sandra is survived by her son, Robert “Todd” Vincent and nephew Rodney Ashcraft, whom she considered as a little brother. She is also survived by brothers: Terry Ashcraft and Gary (Debra) Ashcraft; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Anna Vincent, of Fairmont, and a brother-in-law, Terry Robey, of Worthington.

Sandra’s name means “the helper of mankind”, which was her daily goal, to help all she came in contact with. She gave freely to everyone, from home-cooked meals, cookies, fresh produce or canned goods, to her time. Sandra will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 5-7pm, Monday, where funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, March 26, with Pastor Dave Markley officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont. Condolences me be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Vincent family.
