“Seniors On The Go” Travel Club Offering Three 2017 Travel Options

The first trip is scheduled for June 26 – 30 with stops at the new and stunning Ark Encounter!; the Creation Museum; the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center; and the famous Newport Aquarium.

The package for five days and four nights is $555.00 per person, with double occupancy including travel insurance and gratuity for the motor coach driver.  The trip departs from Kohl’s Parking Lot.  The deposit for this trip is required by February 20.

A day trip to the Mountain Playhouse in Jennerstown, Pennsylvania to see the comedy play Caught in the Net on August 11 is the second offering for the year.  The play is about a two-timing taxi driver John Smith who keeps two separate families.  When his teen-age children (a girl from one family and a boy from the other) meet in an Internet chat room and are anxious to meet in person, John’s already hectic life shifts into high gear as he tries to keep his double life a secret.

The Mountain Playhouse is a long-running summer stock theatre showcasing popular plays in a rustic, cabin-like setting.   The trip departs from Kohl’s parking lot at 7:30 a.m.

From October 8 – 14, the Club has planned its third and final trip of the year to go to Massachusetts, which includes stops in beautiful Cape Code; villages of Hyannis and Sandwich; John F. Kennedy Memorial; Martha’s Vineyard; Outer Cape; Eastham Windmill; Cape Cod National Seashore Race Point Visitor Center; the Marconi Station; Provincetown; and the famous Plymouth Rock.

The package for seven days and six nights is $599.00 per person, double occupancy and also departs from Kohl’s Parking Lot.

Plan in advance to enjoy one or more of these trip experiences that will begin in June.   Remember, though, that there is a deadline for reservations – so plan NOW!

The next meeting of the Seniors on the Go Travel Club will be held on Monday, February 13, at 1:00 p.m. in the Center’s Conference Room.  For more information about the group or to book reservations, contact Club President Delores Loyd at (304) 624-0773.
