Charleston, WV – The West Virginia Statewide Independent Living Council (WVSILC) along with the West Virginia Independence Network (WIN) will hold multiple public meetings virtually to receive public input on the draft State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL).

The SPIL governs how Federal funds received by the State and State Independent Living Funds will be spent, what services will be provided, how the statewide network of Centers for Independent Living (CILs) will be developed, how the SPIL will be monitored, and how the SILC will collaborate with other councils and agencies to improve IL services.

If you are a resident of WV and have a disability or are a family member or a caregiver of a person with a disability, we want to hear from you. Join us virtually and let us know how you believe Independent Living Funds should be used, what services should be provided, and where services should be provided.

You may attend the Public Meetings on Zoom at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84632221104?pwd=K3dkQ3ZsOWwzOGtHUjkvWlpXY2d4dz09 or call 301-715-8592 to join by phone.

Meeting ID: 846 3222 1104 Passcode: 673961
