On November 12 2024 The Stonewood CEOS club met at the Parkette Restaurant for our
Thanksgiving lunch. A short meeting was conducted before lunch. Present were President
Ladonna Tucker, Vice president Deloris Wilson, Jan Johnson, Estella Farnsworth, Lesita Snider,
Pam Cowdry, April Stout, and Sherry Blue.
The monthly lesson entitled Dancing for the Health
of it was taught by Estella Farnsworth. Physical benefits of dancing include improving
strength,and mobility; mentally; dancing benefits include social interactions, reducing stress
and improving your mood. Last but not least…it’s fun!. Several of our members are scheduled
to work the Angel Tree at the Meadowbrook Mall on Nov 21.Other important dates include
participating in the Stonewood Annual Christmas parade on December on Dec 7.
Demonstration/Achievement Day to be held at St Marks Church on Dec 15. Our club will be
presenting a short skit; and our Christmas luncheon and card exchange on Dec 16 at the FOP
Restaurant; John Wickline will install the 2025 club officers at that time. 36 cans of soup were
collected today for donation to The Mustard Seed. Next month Vienna Sausage donations will
be collected. Meeting was adjourned. Books read this month 7…CVH 405. Happy

On Dec 16, The Stonewood CEOS club met at the FOP Restaurant for our annual Christmas
luncheon and Christmas Card exchange. President Deloris Wilson read devotions; A Weary
World Rejoices. Members present were Ladonna Tucker, Deloris Wilson, Jan Johnson, Estella
Farnsworth, Lesita Snider, Eva Summers, Willa J Green, April Stout, Sherry Blue, and Pam
Cowdry. Deloris taught the lesson on restoring and refinishing furniture. Pam told about a table
that she restored and Ladonna told about a vintage 1928 dresser that has been restored for
her great-granddaughter.
On Dec 15 club members Deloris, Eva, Jan, Pam, Ladonna, April, Willa Jean, Lesita, Sherry,
Estella and member at Large David Wilson attended Demonstration/Achievement Day at the
4H complex, where we did a short skit . Heritage brought today by Pam; She read “The
Meaning of the 12 Days of Christmas” that she found in her Grandfather’s bible.
John Wickline installed the 2025 officers…Ladonna Tucker, President; Deloris Wilson, Vice President; EstellaFarnsworth, Secretary, and Pam Cowdry, Treasurer. New business…discussion about donating
to The Clarksburg Classical School for craft supply needs. reminder to fill out purple sheet in
newsletter for lesson leader training attendance. 64 cans of vienna sausage collected for
Mustard Seed donation. Peanut Butter will be collected next month. Next meeting January 20
2025.
