Terry Allen Vance, 69, of Haywood, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born August 28, 1954 in Harrison County, a son of the late Charles Lanny and Elizabeth Marie Graboski Vance.

He is survived by his significant other, Darlene Butler; and three special grandchildren with whom he made his home, Gavin Correll; Zane Walden; and Dominique Correll; as well as several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers, Clint Vance and his wife Heidi of Bel Air, MD; and Andy Steffi of Harrisburg, PA; his sisters, Tesea Heuyard of Brownstown, PA; and Connie Goss and her husband Ivan of Manheim, PA; his brother-in-law that took special care of him, Jeffrey Martin of Clarksburg; and his brother-in-law, Scott Cramer; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Cramer; his brother, Keith Vance; and his brother-in-law, Clyde Heuyard.

Terry served our country for nine years in the U.S. Marines. For 38 years, Terry was a car salesman working at several dealerships in the Lancaster, PA area. He was a member of the former Odyssey Club and Caseys of Shinnston. The family would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice nurses, especially Rachel, Kelly and Trish.

Friends will be received at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Friday from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery. Online memories and condolences can be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com
