The Harrison County athletes in the spotlight this week are Bridgeport’s Gabe Martin and Robert C. Byrd’s Isiah Heflin.
Indian running back Gabe Martin led his team to an opening win over Buckhannon-Upshur Friday. Martin picked up 199 yards on 10 carries with a pair of touchdowns.
Flying Eagle quarterback Isiah Heflin helped his squad to a victory over Lewis County Friday evening. Heflin was 14 of 21 passing with 271 yards and three touchdown passes. He was also the team’s leading rusher with 52 yards.
Congratulations to Bridgeport’s Gabe Martin and Consider changing ‘RCB’ to ‘RCB’ only if confirmed; otherwise use ‘Robert C. Byrd’s’ for shining bright in the SN and HCJ athlete spotlight!
