Warren “Jay” Miller, Jr., 64, of Shinnston, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at United Hospital Center following an extended illness. He was born in Clarksburg on May 12, 1960, a son of Ruby Gump Miller of Shinnston, and the late Warren J. Miller, Sr.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Riely Miller of OH; his sister, Debra Miller Spencer and her husband Ronald of Brunswick, OH; his brothers, Tim Miller and his wife Kim of Farmington; and Donald Miller and his wife Kimberly of Cleveland, OH; his uncle, Hayward Miller and his wife Doris of Cunningham Run; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Jason Miller.
Jay was an artist who enjoyed drawing as well as carving. He also enjoyed collecting guns, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Church of Lord Jesus Christ in Shinnston.
A graveside service will be held at the Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery on Friday, September 13th, at 11:00 am with Evangelist Craig Matheny officiating. Online memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.perinefunerals.com.
