Gregory Eugene Sayre, 75, of Worthington, passed away on February 16, 2025. He was born in Fairmont on April 13, 1949, a son to the late John Sayre and Helen Kelley Sayre. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Robin Sayre, Gary Sayre; and daughter Amy Sayre.
He is survived by his children, Rebecca Sayre-Callison (Thad), Casie Barger (Jacob), Trey Sayre (Marisa), Toni Lewis (Eric), Gerald Sayre (September), and Melissa Sayre; several grandchildren; and brothers Jerry Sayre and Mike Furbee.
Gregory worked for Consol and Mountaineer Resources. He enjoyed being outside and hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved spending time with his family.
Per his wishes, Gregory will be cremated.
