A ribbon cutting was held by the Harrison County Chamber on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Owners Matt and Marrissa Ashburn are providing a new and innovative way to assist with storage needs in our community.

Matt said, “we always thought PODS was an intriguing concept and a convenient option for moving/storage that people here didn’t have access to.  Trying to fill that void in the market is what inspired us to start Ready Box.  We pride ourselves on convenience and flexibility.  Customers can use our containers for on-site storage and/or moving.

There are no time commitments or contracts. Call 1.833.786.7398 when you need a container and keep till you are finished with that storage need.  Customers can store the containers at their site, or we can keep it at our facility until they’re ready for it.  We find that most of our customers are either moving, building, or going through some type of home renovation where they need a little extra space.  The support from the community has been great – people are excited to finally have a portable storage option in North Central WV.”

Marrissa was a 2006 graduate of RCB and 2012 graduate of Fairmont State University.   Matt grew up in Fairmont and was a 2001 graduate of Fairmont Senior and 2005 graduate of WVU.  They currently live in Bridgeport with our daughter Tenley and son Brady.
