Jena Liggett named Bridgeport Conference Center general manager

Charles Pointe Hospitality announced, in a news release, that Jena Liggett has joined their team as the new general manager of the Bridgeport Conference Center. Liggett is a West Virginia native returning home in time to help the conference center celebrate its 16th anniversary in Bridgeport, Harrison County and North Central West Virginia.

action. This responsibility will include all on and off-site dining services and catering provided by Charles Pointe Hospitality.

“We are pleased to welcome Jena to Bridgeport and are very excited to have her on our team,” said Steve Ludwig, director of hospitality for Charles Pointe Hospitality. “Jena brings a passion for people, event planning, and hospitality. She also has extensive food and beverage management experience. Jena will be valuable to our continued growth.”

Most recently, Jena was the private event manager at the Currituck Club on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Prior to that, she was the general manager of Kimball’s Kitchen, a Four Diamond Restaurant located at the Sanderling Resort in Duck, North Carolina

Since opening to the public 16 years ago, the Bridgeport Conference Center has welcomed an average of 55,000 visitors per year with an estimated economic impact of more than $20 million in revenues.
