Kenneth “Kenny” Robert Sisler

Kenneth “Kenny” Robert Sisler, age 79, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at his residence. He was born November 4, 1944, in Shinnston, WV, son of the late Lester Lincoln and Edna Virginia (Carlin) Sisler. Kenneth was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a former coal miner. He was a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church, in Lumberport, WV and the Lions Club of New Martinsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Deloris June Swiger Sisler in October 2021; brother Terry Lynn Sisler; sister Charlotte Fay Starkey. Survivors include a brother, Ernest (Betty) Sisler of Philippi, WV; brother-in-law, Robert Starkey (Gayla Fisher) of Friendly, WV; niece and caregiver, Elaine (Randy) Snider of Salem, WV; nephew, Thomas (Jandy) Starkey of Fleming, OH; niece, Lisa (Andy) Vanderwerf of Arlington, TN; niece, Lisa (Mike) Elmore of Belington, WV; niece, Wendy (Daren) Gain of Philippi, WW; niece, Tracey (John) Shumway of Philippi, WV; and brother-in-law, Eugene (Trisha) Swiger of Tampa, FL; and several great nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 5-8 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, WV and Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 11 am until time of service at 12 noon at Ten Mile Baptist Church 1293 Wallace Pike, Lumberport, WV with Pastor Jeff Perine officiating. Interment will follow in Lion Cemetery, Lumberport, WV.
