The Lord took one of his Angels home, Lida Mae (Rader) Fisher, on Saturday, March 16, 2024. She was born in Spelter on March 7, 1932, a daughter to the late James Earl Rader and Genevieve (Kesling) Rader. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings W. Fisher having 71 years of marriage with him; sister Jeannet Light (Toots); and brothers James Earl Rader Jr. and William Huston Rader.
Lida is survived by her children, sons Eugene A. Fisher of Warren, OH, and Dana V. Fisher of Spelter; daughter Kelly L. Fisher of Rock Cave; grandsons Eric J. Miller of Spelter, and Michael S. Fisher and Eric D. Fisher of Warren, OH; granddaughters Carie Rivera of Warren, OH, Connie Wilkins of Cleveland, OH, Karen Fisher of Cleveland, OH, and Melissa Smith of Palm Bay, FL; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She retired from General Motors in 1981 and was Methodist by faith. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed ceramics, painting, crocheting, and sewing.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 3:00PM-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 12:00PM with James Glaspell Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
