Neva Cottrell, 74, of Shinnston, passed away on April 17, 2024. She was born on January 29, 1950, a daughter to the late Farrell Leon Eakle and Olive Devere Burns. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Charles Cottrell; grandsons Timothy Mackey, Justin Adams, and Ryan Mackey; and great-granddaughter Mackenzie Martin.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Mackey of Gypsy, Cindy Adams of Clarksburg, and Genevieve Selby of Morgantown; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Neva loved working as a CNA, watching soap operas, keeping up with her house, her dog Spade, and anything that had to do with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 10:00AM-12:00PM. A graveside service will follow at Lions Club Cemetery, Lumberport with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating.
