Ralph Junior Serian, 73, of Fairmont, passed away on January 16, 2025. He was born in Fairmont on January 5, 1952, a son to the late John Serian and Mary Jane (Glover) Serian. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Lulu McCandless-Grubb, and his best friend and beloved pet Zoey DeChanel Serian.
He is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, Linda Christine Serian, who he called Wissy; daughter Jennifer Desiree Moreland of Fairmont; brothers Dennis Serian of Valley Falls, Dave Serian (Anita) of Fairmont; and John Serian of Charleston; and brothers-in-law Robbie Grubb (Jenny), and Rick McCandless (Mauren).
Ralph retired from Consol Energy. He is a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, United Mine Workers 1501, Knights of Columbus, and Bridgeport Country Club. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, political discourse, and was a strong advocate for and promoting equal rights for ALL.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 10:00AM-2:00PM. A funeral mass will follow at St. Ann Catholic Church at 2:00PM with Rev. Akila Rodrigo T.O.R. officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Enterprise Cemetery.
