Rebecca Kay Smith

Rebecca Kay Smith, 54, of Hepzibah, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Clarksburg, September 13, 1968, a daughter of Carol Sue Carder Smith, of Hepzibah, and the late William Douglas Smith, Sr.

Also surviving are her brother, James Lynn Smith and his wife Janice, Hepzibah; her nieces Marissa Smith and her husband Ben, Belington, Kayla Smith and her fiancé Noah Cruz, Weston, Deanna Smith and her fiancé Ben Morrison, Lumberport, and Faith Smith, Wyatt; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rebecca was a kind and loving person who enjoyed playing games online with friends. She loved the Lord and attended Higher Rock Church in Haywood.

The Family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at noon on Saturday, June 10th, a the Higher Rock Church in Haywood. A memorial service will be held at the church at 1pm, with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating. A dinner will follow the service. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Smith family.
