Vivian Irene Stark

Vivian Irene Stark, 88, of Haywood, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Shinnston on October 30, 1937, beloved daughter of the late Orval and Nellie (Duncan) Fisher.

Vivian loved gardening, crossword puzzles and time with her family. She was a member of Church of Lord Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her son, James Stark and wife Renee of Haywood; daughter in law, Rhonda Stark of Haywood; grandchildren: Bobby (Haley) Stark of Gypsy, Chris (Tessa) Stark of Haywood, Jimmy (Cambre) Stark of Haywood, Cole (Emily) Davisson of Lumberport; Mikayla (Jaron) Morgan of Lumberport, Joseph (Darcie) Stark of Wyatt and Carly (Hale) Duckworth; great grandchildren: Beau, Lindsay, Caitlyn, Lane, Cade, Arya, Jensen, Magnolia, Melody, Stella, Remington, Wrenlee and Cooper; siblings: Doris (Lee) Miller of Shinnston, John (Anita) Fisher of Shinnston and Mitchell (Susan) Fisher of Shinnston as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Stark; daughter, Nancy Stark; son, Bob Stark; two sisters: Virginia Bonnell and Ester Morgan and one brother, Orval Fisher.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 11:00AM until time of service, 1:00PM with Pastor Jeff Stire officiating. Interment to Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.

Dorsey Funeral Home is honored to be handling the arrangements for the Stark family.
